The summer sun was high. As employees at the Collective Underground, we had the unique opportunity to model this summer's western vintage drop right where it belongs, on the rugged, sun-drenched ranch of Utah’s 2024 Miss Rodeo McKardy Kelly.

Styling Tips Inspired by the Ranch


Modeling the collection gave us insight into how to wear western vintage in everyday life. Here are some practical styling tips inspired by the ranch experience:


  • Layers: Pair a lightweight chambray shirt with a suede vest for warmth and style during cooler summer evenings.

  • Mix textures: Combine denim with leather accessories to add depth to the fit.

  • Choose functional footwear: Classic cowboy boots or sturdy ankle boots not only complete the look but also provide comfort for outdoor adventures.

  • Add subtle details: Bandanas, silver conchos, and turquoise jewelry bring authenticity without overwhelming the outfit.
